About our Director

The Director and owner of Chicago Grooming Academy is Steve Cox.  He has over 25 years of experience working with animals.  He has been Grooming for over 17 years.

Steve is a graduate from a professional School of Dog Grooming, where he also taught as an instructor. Additionally he owned and operated a successful Grooming Salon.

Steve was the Regional Grooming Training Center Manager for Petco.  He was responsible for training Groomers in all the Midwestern states.

In addition to the many certifications, and awards regarding Grooming, training, and handling, Steve is also a very successful and knowledgeable business owner.   He has managed profitable business centers for Petco, the City of Chicago, his own Grooming shop and now our Academy.
